Clinics

Children's Development and Immunisation Clinic

The surgery offers a full range of child health surveillance and immunisations to your children. Please register your new baby with the surgery shortly after delivery.

Child development assessments are carried out at 6 weeks, 8 months and 1 to 2 years by appointment. Your health visitor will discuss these with you.

Medical Reports, Medical Record Requests and GP Letter Requests

For medical reports, access to medical record requests and GP letter requests, there is up to a 6 week turn around time. This excludes the bank holidays and weekends. You will need to sign a consent form regardless of the type of request, you will be asked to sign a consent form and put the request in writing. Without this the request will not be started. 

Some forms and letter requests require a payable fee. Please ask us at reception for more information about this or visit our Non-NHS Services page. These requests are done outside of NHS hours and are considered to be private work. This means the requests are done outside the GPs clinical hours. Please do not book an appointment to have a form completed as you will be directed back to reception and can put a delay in your request being completed. 

Medical records are free to access and have copies off, depending on what the request is effects the waiting time, for brief summaries they can take up to a few days or a week however a full copy of records can take up to 6 weeks.

Our Nurses offer the following services:

  • Baby and child immunisations
  • Travel advice and vaccinations
  • Cervical smear test
  • Contraception
  • Dressings
  • Asthma check
  • COPD
  • BP Check
  • Diabetes

Our Nurses can also help you with minor aliments such as coughs and colds.

Well Baby Clinics

Burnt Ash

Tuesday: 9.30am to 11.30am: Child assessments, weighing and advice with doctor and health visitor. Please call 0203 049 2112 to book an appointment. 

These clinics are for well children only. If your child is sick please arrange for an appointment in ordinary surgery time.

Downham

Thursdays at Downham Health and Leisure Centre, 7-9 Moorside Road, Bromley BR1 5EP. Please call the Health Visitors on 0203 049 1900
